Study finds Chicago Police Cameras are Effective Crime Fighting Tool

 

Urban Institute's study reports the Chicago Police Video Surveillance System is very effective in fighting crime. Their report showed that for every $1.00 spent on the video surveillance system, it produced over $2.00 savings in overall crime fighting costs. Chicago Police use the Pelco Spectra PTZ dome in their PODSS system designed by Aviro RMS Group.
